Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi is reportedly on the verge of a surprise transfer to the Bundesliga, as interest from top German clubs continues to build.

According to renowned Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bundesliga clubs have made enquiries about signing the Leicester City defensive midfielder ahead of the new season.

“Wilfred Ndidi has also received requests from Bundesliga clubs. A summer transfer is possible for the 28-year-old defensive midfielder from Leicester. Price valuation: €15 million. One to watch,” Plettenberg revealed on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday.

Ndidi, who signed for Leicester City from KRC Genk in 2017 for €17 million, has been a key figure in the Foxes’ midfield over the years. However, with Leicester’s recent relegation from the English Premier League, transfer talks have intensified around the Nigerian international.
