“World War III Is Coming, But Nigeria Will Be Safe” — Ben Murray-Bruce Predicts Global Conflict.

Media mogul and former Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has warned that World War III is inevitable, citing the rising presence of nuclear weapons, global violence, and unstable leadership worldwide.

Murray-Bruce made the comments during an interview with Global Affairs Expert, Dane Waters, on Tuesday. He emphasized that while much of the world may face devastating consequences, Africa — especially Nigeria — will remain safe.

“Nigeria Has No Nuclear Ambitions, So We’ll Be Spared” — Murray-Bruce

The founder of Silverbird Group stressed that Nigeria’s peaceful diplomatic posture, lack of territorial aggression, and non-involvement in nuclear proliferation will protect the country during a global war.

“Nobody is going to be fighting in Nigeria. We have no territorial ambitions, no desire for nuclear weapons. We’re friends with our neighbours,” he said.

Nigeria May Become a Refuge for War-Displaced People

Murray-Bruce also predicted that Nigeria may become a haven for people fleeing from conflict-affected countries such as the United States, Israel, and Iran.

“We’ll be happy to welcome Americans, Israelis, and Iranians to Nigeria. But please come with your visas. We don’t want to treat anyone badly,” he added with a hint of sarcasm.

“Trigger-Happy Leaders Are the Real Threat”

The former lawmaker, who once represented Bayelsa East Senatorial District, blamed the looming crisis on reckless world leaders.

  • “There are too many crazy people in leadership. It’s not the people who start wars—it’s the leaders. We’ve seen this cycle before in 1917, 1939, 1945, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War,” he explained.
  • He warned that the current global environment is being shaped by violent rhetoric, easy access to weapons, and unchecked ambition, which could lead to widespread destruction if not addressed.

Context: Rising Iran-Israel Tensions

Murray-Bruce’s statement comes at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel are escalating rapidly, with fears of a broader conflict drawing in world powers and igniting regional instability.
