Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has triggered widespread speculation about a possible split from his record label boss, Naira Marley, after dropping a bold and cryptic message on social media.
In a trending Instagram Story post, the singer declared that he is speaking up for himself and for artists who have been “taken advantage of,” stressing that musicians deserve fairness, respect, and transparency.
He wrote:
“I’m standing up not just for myself but for every artist who has ever felt powerless or taken advantage of. We deserve better. We deserve transparency, fairness, and respect.”

His post immediately sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans recalling the late singer Mohbad’s previous accusations against Marlian Music. Some wondered whether Zinoleesky’s message signalled deeper issues within the label.
This development comes two years after Mohbad repeatedly accused Naira Marley and his associates of assault and exploitation before his death.
