Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has publicly reassured superstar Davido of her loyalty, stressing that she would never betray him despite their past fallout.

The singer made this vow while addressing her strained relationship with the DMW boss following a petition she filed against him in January 2024, accusing him of allegedly threatening her life.

Their clash began after Tiwa Savage shared a photo with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, at a time when the singer was locked in a child custody battle with Sophia. The gesture sparked speculations of disloyalty and widened the rift between Tiwa and Davido.

However, speaking during an interview on The Breakfast Club, Tiwa set the record straight, making it clear that she has no intention of taking sides in the matter.

“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” she affirmed.

She also emphasized her love and admiration for the ‘OBO’ crooner, describing him as someone she still holds in high regard.
