President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will honour 210 former members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in a special Presidential Honours Award Ceremony scheduled to hold on Tuesday at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The development was confirmed in a statement released on Saturday by the NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Emeka Mgbemena.

According to the statement, the awards will cover exceptional service rendered between 2020 and 2023, recognizing 200 ex-corps members who distinguished themselves in the four cardinal areas of NYSC:
- Orientation Course
- Primary Assignment
- Community Development Service (CDS)
- Winding-Up/Passing-Out
In addition, 10 ex-corps members who suffered permanent disabilities while serving the nation will also be honoured under the NYSC Hope Alive Initiative. This gesture celebrates their courage and sacrifice.

- “President Tinubu will honour 210 former corps members, including 10 with permanent disabilities, for their dedication, resilience, and contributions to national development,” the statement read.
The event will be attended by key stakeholders, including the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande, the NYSC Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Akinmokun Nafiu and the senior management of the NYSC.
