President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Kaduna State on Thursday for a one-day working visit to inaugurate a series of developmental projects aimed at boosting rural infrastructure and improving access to public services.
The President was warmly received at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, by Governor Uba Sani, top government officials, traditional rulers, and other dignitaries.
Focus on Rural Development: Tinubu Visits Rigachikun
Immediately after his arrival, Tinubu headed to Rigachikun in the Igabi Local Government Area, where he is expected to commission several infrastructure projects.
The projects include:
- Newly constructed road networks
- Primary healthcare centres
- Modern educational facilities
These initiatives are part of the Kaduna State Government’s broader rural development agenda designed to improve the quality of life for residents in underserved areas.

As expected for a high-profile presidential visit, security was visibly tightened throughout Kaduna city. A joint team of the Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the military ensured a smooth and secure visit.
