President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new members to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), reinforcing efforts to expand local content in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The appointments were announced in a statement on Thursday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. According to the statement, the new board members were selected to replace outgoing representatives from various organizations.

Onanuga emphasized that the NCDMB remains committed to enhancing Nigerian participation in the oil and gas industry, and the newly appointed members are expected to bring their expertise to drive local content growth.
