Vice President Kashim Shettima will represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 50th Independence Anniversary of São Tomé and Príncipe on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
According to a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Shettima will depart Abuja for São Tomé, where he will join other African and global leaders for the Golden Jubilee grand finale.
