The Police Service Commission (PSC) has warned Nigerians to disregard online reports claiming that recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force for 2025 has commenced.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, described the viral advertorial as fictitious and diversionary, stressing that it did not originate from the PSC.
Ani urged Nigerians who are interested in joining the Police Force to exercise patience, assuring that when the time comes, the recruitment process will follow due process and be made public officially.

- “The current online advertorial is not from the Commission and does not in any way represent the character nor the content of the Commission’s statement announcing commencement of such exercises,” Ani said.
He further emphasized that the PSC is committed to conducting a recruitment process that will be credible, transparent, and equitable.
