President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to renowned Nigerian businessman and former MTN Nigeria Chairman, Pascal Dozie, who passed away at the age of 85 in the early hours of Tuesday.

The announcement was made by Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, who confirmed the sad news of the death of the respected entrepreneur and pioneer founder of the now-defunct Diamond Bank.

In his heartfelt message, President Tinubu described Pascal Dozie as “a rare breed business leader” whose legacy of wisdom, humility, and innovation has made a lasting impact on Nigeria’s private sector.

“His passing is a profound loss to the private sector and the entire nation,” Tinubu stated.

The President extended his deepest condolences to the Dozie family, praying for the peaceful repose of the late icon’s soul.
