“Now Is the Time for Peace” – Trump Declares After Massive U.S. Airstrikes on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities.

U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that “now is the time for peace” after ordering a full-scale military assault on Iran’s three major nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In a surprise announcement posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Trump said the U.S. Air Force carried out a successful bombing operation, stating that “a full payload of bombs” was dropped, particularly targeting the heavily fortified Fordow facility.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran’s airspace… NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” – Trump posted.

He praised the U.S. military, calling them the “great American warriors,” and celebrated the operation as unmatched by any other force worldwide.

Iran Yet to Respond Officially

As of the time of this report, the Iranian government has not issued an official response. However, state-run media in Tehran reported that all three nuclear sites had been preemptively evacuated before the U.S. airstrike.

The bombings have sent shockwaves across the Middle East and the global diplomatic community, especially as many expected diplomacy to prevail after Trump gave Iran a two-week negotiation window earlier this month.

Ayatollah Khamenei Prepares for Retaliation

Earlier today, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned of serious consequences if the U.S. attacked. He threatened to target U.S. military bases across the Middle East if President Trump escalated military involvement with Israel.

Amid rising assassination threats allegedly linked to Israeli and U.S. agencies, Khamenei had also named three potential successors, raising concerns of political instability in Iran’s leadership.

Global Tensions at a Boiling Point

  • The sudden airstrike on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure has further intensified global fears of a full-scale war in the Middle East, especially as Iran is expected to retaliate swiftly and strategically.
  • Diplomatic experts warn that this move could unravel years of nuclear diplomacy and possibly derail all efforts toward non-proliferation and regional peace.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s post-strike call for peace has been met with mixed reactions worldwide. Critics see the airstrike as provocative, while supporters claim it neutralized a growing nuclear threat.
