The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has announced the commencement of admissions for its 12th Regular Course Degree Programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Online Application Begins July 28, 2025

According to a press statement signed by the Academy’s Registrar, Barr. Ekpere Fidelis Ezeugwu, the online application portal will be open from July 28 to September 8, 2025. Prospective candidates have a six-week window to complete their applications.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a Nigerian citizen by birth with a valid National Identity Number (NIN)
Have sat for the 2025 JAMB and scored a minimum of 180, selecting the Police Academy as first-choice
Possess a minimum of six credits in WAEC/NECO, including English and Mathematics (in no more than two sittings)
Be between 16 and 21 years of age as of October 31, 2025
Meet minimum height: 1.67m (male), 1.64m (female); Males must also have a chest measurement of 86cm
Be physically, medically, and psychologically fit
Must not be married or pregnant

Application Process & Fee

Interested applicants should:

Visit the Academy website at www.admission.polac.edu.ng
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code
Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦6,000 (includes Post-UTME fee) via any commercial bank
Complete and submit the online application form
Print out the completed form
Upload scanned copies of their SSCE result, birth certificate, and certificate of origin

Selection Process: CBT, Medical & Interview

All applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the Academy’s ICT Centre. Successful candidates will then proceed to:

Physical screening
Medical examination
Interview and final selection

Notifications will be sent via SMS and email, and training commencement dates will be announced later.
