In a major political development, South-South stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously adopted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and three sitting governors as their sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.
The governors endorsed include:
- Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State
- Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State
- Bassey Otu of Cross River State
