President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lafia, Nasarawa State, on Tuesday for a one-day working visit to commission a series of key infrastructure projects executed under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule during his second term in office.

The President touched down at Usman Danfodio Airport to a warm reception by Governor Sule, alongside former Nasarawa governors Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, as well as traditional leaders and stakeholders from across the state.

High-Level Delegation Welcomes Tinubu

Accompanying President Tinubu were a high-powered delegation, including the governors of Kaduna, Borno, Kwara, Benue, Imo, and Ogun States, the Deputy Governor of Gombe, former governors, and several federal ministers.

Projects Commissioned by President Tinubu

During the historic visit, President Tinubu commissioned several flagship projects that underscore the development strides of Governor Sule’s administration, including:

• Lafia Interchange Flyover and Underpass
• New Nasarawa State Secretariat Complex
• Dualised Shemdan Road in Lafia
• Operational vehicles for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs)
• Security patrol vehicles and agricultural equipment

These projects are aimed at improving urban mobility, governance, public service delivery, and agricultural productivity across the state.

The presidential visit is seen as a strong endorsement of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth in Nasarawa State.
