The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially scheduled its next National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for Wednesday, July 24, 2025.
This was disclosed by the party’s Deputy National Secretary, Barr. Festus Fuanter, following the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Monday.
Leadership Change Precedes NEC Meeting
The upcoming NEC meeting comes just days after Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje resigned from his position as National Chairman of the party. In response, the APC appointed Ali Dalori as the Acting National Chairman pending further decisions.

The July 24 NEC session is expected to address critical matters, including:
- Ratification of leadership changes
- Strategic planning ahead of the 2027 general elections
