The city of Lagos stood still on Thursday, April 17, 2025, as Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux celebrated their traditional wedding in a spectacular event tagged #JP2025.
Held at the luxurious Five Palm, Oniru, the ceremony brought together the cultures of Nigeria and Tanzania in a fairytale celebration that blended love, music, fashion, and family.
A Cultural Extravaganza
The couple was stunned in matching blue and pink traditional attire, while the bridal train and groomsmen complemented the theme in elegant pink outfits. From the flawless décor to the impeccable planning, every detail screamed luxury and class.
One of the most emotional moments was when Juma officially asked Priscilla’s family for her hand in marriage, followed by Priscilla presenting him with a throw pillow bearing an image of his late father — a heartfelt gesture that moved many to tears.

The bride also shared tender dances with her mother and father, Iyabo Ojo and Ademidun Ojo, who reunited briefly after years of separation to honor their daughter’s big day.
A Star-Studded Guest List
The wedding saw the presence of top Nigerian celebrities, including actress Toyin Abraham, who actively helped organize the event and attended to guests and bridesmaids.
Chioma Ikwoku and Enioluwa Adeoluwa played key supportive roles. Enioluwa acted as the bride's loyal best friend and ensured she had everything she needed throughout the day.
Love Story of the Year
The lovebirds first met in Rwanda, with both revealing that it was love at first sight. “From the moment I saw her, I knew she was my wife,” said Juma. Priscilla echoed the sentiment, describing their connection as instant and divine.
The newlyweds later changed into green and wine-colored outfits, cut their grand wedding cake, and shared romantic kisses to the delight of attendees.
Adding a surprise twist, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State performed at the event, lighting up the night with music and dance. Priscilla proudly introduced Juma to the governor, who responded like a true Yoruba son, showcasing the groom’s growing fluency in Yoruba.
Pre-Wedding & Bridal Moments
Before the Lagos celebration, the couple held a Tanzanian traditional wedding and civil ceremony in Tanzania on February 7, 2025. They also went viral for releasing five different outfits from their pre-wedding shoot, breaking the internet with style and elegance.
Priscilla’s bridesmaids also hosted a Tanzanian-themed bridal shower, wearing colorful khanga fabrics in a celebration of East African culture.
Earlier in the week, a Mother’s Night ceremony was held, attended by Iyabo Ojo and filled with emotional prayers and praise.
