First Bank of Nigeria has announced that its online banking services have been fully restored following a temporary disruption that left many customers unable to carry out transactions.
The update was shared on the bank’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, confirming that the issue had been resolved a day earlier.
- “We are back,” the bank posted, reassuring customers that normal service has resumed across its digital platforms.
Naija Blog Daily had earlier reported that the bank alerted customers on Thursday about a system disruption affecting its online banking channels.

With the restoration, customers can now access services such as mobile banking, internet banking, and USSD transactions without interruption.
The bank also appreciated its customers for their patience during the downtime.
