- According to Engr. O. I. Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, efforts are ongoing to carry out palliative repairs to ensure the bridge remains motorable.
The Ministry of Works apologized for the inconvenience caused by the closure and assured that full repairs will be scheduled at a later date.
