Saudi Arabia has officially declared that Eid al-Fitr 2025 will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The Saudi Supreme Court made the announcement and relayed it through the Royal Court via the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on X (formerly Twitter).

The crescent moon sighting, which determines the start of Shawwal, confirmed that Eid will commence on Sunday in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar. However, Oman and Iran have announced that Eid celebrations will begin on Monday, March 31, 2025.
