American rap superstar Cardi B has once again etched her name in music history, becoming the first female rapper ever to debut her first two studio albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her latest project, “Am I The Drama?”, stormed the chart with 200,000 equivalent album units in its opening week — the biggest first-week sales of 2025 for a female hip-hop or R&B artist.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Billboard confirmed the milestone:

“Cardi B scores her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as ‘Am I The Drama?’ debuts atop the tally. With 200,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S., it marks 2025’s biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman.”

This achievement mirrors the success of her 2018 debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” which also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1.

The album’s strong debut was powered by huge streaming numbers alongside multiple CD and vinyl editions, which boosted physical sales.

Adding to the hype, Cardi B set a Guinness World Record by delivering 176 signed copies of the album via drone in just one hour across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Looking ahead, the Grammy-winning rapper will kick off a nationwide arena tour in February 2026, where fans can expect her signature high-energy performances and live renditions of her latest hits.
