BREAKING: JAMB Admits Errors in 2025 UTME, Over 75% of Candidates Score Below 200, (Video) Below.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially admitted that errors occurred during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), affecting the performance of many candidates nationwide.

This was disclosed by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during a press briefing held on Wednesday in Abuja. He expressed regret over the situation, saying:

“What should have been a moment of joy has changed due to one or two errors.”

The UTME, Nigeria’s major entrance examination into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, evaluates candidates in four subjects, including Use of English as a compulsory paper. However, technical and operational issues appear to have impacted the overall performance of candidates this year.
