The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a change in the venue and time for its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025.
According to a statement released on Wednesday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the meeting, initially slated for the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, will now be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa at 2 pm.
“The change of venue from the party’s National Secretariat – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja – to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, is due to logistical reasons,” Morka said.
Key Issues to Be Discussed
The upcoming NEC meeting is considered critical, with the party expected to endorse a successor to former National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June due to health-related reasons.

Following Ganduje’s resignation, Ali Bukar Dalori has been acting as the party’s interim chairman, with insiders suggesting that he may continue in the role until a formal elective convention is held.
Other key agenda items include:
- Updates from the Constitution Review Committee.
- E-registration efforts to expand party membership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
