Popular Nigerian influencer and luxury car dealer, Waris Olayinka Akinwande, better known as Ola of Lagos, has finally spoken out following the demolition of his multimillion-naira car showroom, OOL Autos, by the Lagos State Government.
Naija Blog Daily earlier reported that the state authorities pulled down the influencer’s newly built showroom on Saturday, sparking widespread reactions on social media.
Reacting via his Instagram story, Ola maintained a positive and determined outlook, assuring his fans that he is already planning a comeback.
- “New showroom coming soon… Bigger and better, Insha Allah. We’re still active! We existed long before our physical showroom, and we’ll continue to thrive,” he wrote.

Despite the setback, Ola of Lagos — known for his motivational and upbeat attitude — expressed deep gratitude to his fans and supporters for their calls, prayers, and messages of encouragement.
- “Omo, these calls and messages, thank you all so much. I’m good, I promise. I’m even smiling right now,” he said. “I’ve been taking losses for a long time — losses that could easily buy me a bedroom apartment in Ikoyi. But man just reflects, smiles, thanks God, comes online to motivate others, shows love, and keeps going. All is well, haha.”
The demolition of OOL Autos has continued to stir mixed reactions online, but Ola’s response has earned him admiration for his resilience and unwavering optimism despite the huge financial blow.
