Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, has addressed critics who bashed her for partying with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels shortly after her sister’s burial.
A viral video showing Phyna dancing and smiling at a nightclub drew backlash online, with many accusing her of being insensitive and moving on too quickly after her loss.
Reacting to the criticism, Phyna explained that grief is a deeply personal journey and that everyone copes differently. She stressed that there’s no rulebook or timeline for healing, adding that her decision to smile or have fun doesn’t mean she has forgotten her pain.

- “Grief has no manual, no fixed face, and no timetable. The fact that I choose to keep living, smiling, or sharing moments does not erase the pain I carry. Respect the process, even if you do not understand it. If you cannot extend compassion, then at least extend silence,” Phyna wrote.
Backing her up, Regina Daniels urged the public to stop judging others for how they choose to heal, reminding fans that everyone handles loss in their own way.
