Responding, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Johnson S. Alalibo, assured the state government, political parties, and stakeholders that INEC remains committed to neutrality while providing technical support to ensure a credible registration process.
Dr. Abuo was accompanied on the visit by members of the Cross River State Political Network (CRISPON), including its secretary, Mr. Eta Ekong, among others.
Governor Otu’s intervention comes as part of efforts to boost voter turnout and ensure wider participation ahead of the upcoming elections.
