Veteran singer and activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has openly declared that he is searching for a wife for his 46-year-old son.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Charly Boy revealed that his son, who holds a Master’s degree and is 5ft 11ins tall, had previously been married but is now divorced and seemingly afraid of women.
The entertainer emphasized that he is looking for a bride from a “good home with humble beginnings”, stressing that only authentic graduates should apply.

- “My people, I still dey look for wife for dis my son. E don marry once, divorce. Now, e be like say e dey fear woman. Biko, if you’re from a good home with humble beginnings, DM me. He is coming next month. He is a master’s degree holder, age 46. 5ft 11ins. Very humble. If you’re not an authentic graduate don’t bother. I need to tie him to Nigeria,” Charly Boy wrote.
Charly Boy further added that his son, whom he described as “very humble”, will be returning to Nigeria next month, and he hopes to “tie him to Nigeria” through marriage.
