Turkish giants Galatasaray have officially ended their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen following Napoli’s high transfer demands, according to respected football transfer expert Süleyman Rodop.
Rodop, speaking via Habersarikirmizi, confirmed that Galatasaray will not submit any new offers for the Super Eagles forward, who spent last season on loan at the Turkish club.

“Galatasaray won’t make a new offer for Victor Osimhen. They won’t go beyond the last offer,” Rodop said.
According to reports, Napoli demanded a €40 million upfront payment, an additional €35 million by 2026, and a sell-on clause — conditions Galatasaray have deemed excessive, despite making a fourth offer for the striker.
Rodop further explained that while Osimhen’s contract with Napoli expires next year, the Italian club retains an option to extend it by one more season, giving them full control of the player’s future.
- “Napoli has the initiative. Galatasaray’s latest offer remains unchanged, and the club will not return to the negotiation table,” he added.

Rodop also praised Osimhen for his professional conduct during the transfer saga, stating:
- “We need to give Victor Osimhen a big thumbs-up. He’s taking a great stance.”
Despite his strong desire to make a permanent return to Galatasaray, it now appears the move is off the table — unless Napoli lowers their demands.
The impasse casts fresh doubt over Osimhen’s future, as speculation continues to swirl about potential suitors across Europe and beyond.
