In a new update on the ongoing royalty dispute between gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label boss, EeZee Tee, the Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz, Nancy Nnadi (also known as Coach Nancy), has confirmed that settlement talks are currently ongoing.
This development follows the lawsuit filed by Mercy Chinwo in January 2025, accusing Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (popularly known as EeZee Tee) of allegedly diverting $345,000 in music royalties. The legal battle erupted two years after Chinwo parted ways with the record label due to financial disagreements.
Amidst the tension, Nancy Nnadi had accused Chinwo of financial misconduct. However, after the singer responded with a defamation lawsuit, demanding a public apology and deletion of the defamatory posts, Nnadi has now publicly retracted her statement.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Nancy wrote:
- “On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. We pray that Almighty God perfects the ongoing settlement process, which is being facilitated by respected Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”
This update signals hope for a peaceful resolution between Mercy Chinwo and EeZee Tee as top religious leaders mediate the dispute.
