The Rivers State Police Command has officially declared Aloni Olodi, Chief of Staff (CoS), and Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Ahoada East Local Government Area, wanted over a violent assault on the council’s Sole Administrator, Goodluck Ihemnacho.
In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the attack took place on June 20, 2025, at the Ahoada East Council Secretariat.
Refusal to Honor Police Invitation
Despite a formal invitation to report to the Police State Headquarters in Port Harcourt for questioning, both Olodi and Ekakita refused to comply. Their failure to appear prompted Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, to officially declare them wanted.
“These individuals, along with a gang of about 30 others, are alleged to have conspired to physically assault the Sole Administrator, forcefully obtained his signature under duress, and stole his mobile phones and sensitive documents,” the statement read.
Victim Still Hospitalized
The statement further disclosed that Goodluck Ihemnacho is currently receiving medical treatment due to injuries sustained during the violent incident.
The attackers are also accused of looting both personal and official property from the administrator’s office.
