The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State chapter has officially released the timetable for the upcoming bye-elections in Edo Central Senatorial District and Ovia Federal Constituency, in line with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines.

This announcement was contained in a communiqué issued on Friday, following a strategic meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) held at the PDP State Secretariat in Benin City. The communiqué was signed by Jarret Tenebe, Secretary of the PDP Caretaker Committee in Edo State.

According to the statement, the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) has approved the detailed schedule to guide all party members, aspirants, and stakeholders during the electoral process.

PDP Bye-Election Timetable Highlights:

• The sale of nomination and expression of interest forms begins on Saturday and ends on Thursday.
• Forms will be available at the PDP State Secretariat, 20 Aiguobasimwin Crescent, GRA, Benin City.
• Ward congresses to elect three-man ad hoc delegates (where necessary) will be held on July 17 at designated ward secretariats.
• Local Government congresses to elect one national delegate per LGA are scheduled for July 18, at each LGA party secretariat.
