In a major political realignment in Kaduna State, former Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mohamed Sani Sidi, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Consultations Across 23 LGAs
The former PDP stalwart revealed that the decision to defect followed extensive consultations across all 23 local government areas of Kaduna State, affirming that the APC’s policies best align with their group’s values.

Mass Defection from PDP to APC
- Sidi also announced the defection of top PDP officials, including:
- Two former state party chairmen
- A former party secretary
- A former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly
