As tensions escalate in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a public safety alert, urging citizens to avoid gatherings and limit movement in public areas across the country.
The warning came through a statement from the Home Front Command, the IDF division responsible for civil protection, on Sunday, June 15.
“Movement in public areas should be minimized, and public gatherings must be avoided. Upon receiving an alert, enter a protected space and remain there until an official update is issued,” the IDF announced.
Citizens Advised to Stay Near Shelters
Israelis were further advised to stay close to designated protected zones and remain indoors when possible as the security situation worsens following retaliatory missile exchanges between Israel and Iran.
