BONNY, RIVERS STATE – JUNE 13, 2025 –
Suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has broken his silence with a powerful message of hope and defiance amid the political turmoil that rocked the state earlier this year.
Speaking to supporters during a visit to Bonny, Fubara stated:
“No king lives forever. That’s the truth. And no authority lasts forever. But what is important is that within the period that you are in power or when you reigned, I wished you did wonderful things that would speak forever.”

- Fubara, who was suspended in March 2025 following the state of emergency declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says he remains confident in divine justice and historical vindication.
