The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out precision airstrikes on Boko Haram terrorist camps in Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia areas of southern Tumbuns, Borno State, successfully foiling a planned attack ahead of the Eid celebrations.
Acting on credible intelligence, NAF jets under Operation Hadin Kai struck terrorist structures used for weapon storage and coordination, delivering direct hits that neutralized several insurgents and crippled their logistics networks.
Strategic Move to Protect Civilians During Eid
In a statement, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information, confirmed that the airstrikes were pre-emptive, targeting imminent threats to civilian populations during the festive season.
