JUST IN: Peter Obi’s Former Campaign Manager, Oseloka Obaze, Resigns from Labour Party.

The Labour Party (LP) has suffered a major setback as Oseloka Obaze, a former Secretary to the Anambra State Government and key figure in Peter Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign, has officially resigned from the party.

Obaze, who served as Peter Obi’s campaign manager and a prominent member of the Obidient Movement, cited unresolved national leadership issues and irregularities in the April 5, 2025, governorship primary election in Anambra State as reasons for his decision to exit the party.

In a resignation letter addressed to the Labour Party Chairman of Ochuche Ward 406 in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Obaze expressed deep dissatisfaction with the party’s internal management and accused it of lacking transparency and accountability.

His departure comes amid growing tensions and leadership crises within the party in Anambra State, where Obaze has long been regarded as a strategic leader and influencer.

A seasoned diplomat and political strategist, Obaze’s exit is seen as a major blow to the Labour Party’s structure and credibility in the region, further intensifying questions about the party’s unity and direction ahead of future elections.
