Unknown Gunmen Attack Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Family House in Kogi State.

Gunmen reportedly invaded the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Obeiba-Ihima, Kogi State, causing tension in the community. The Senator, who represents Kogi Central in the National Assembly, raised the alarm on Thursday through a statement issued by her media team in Abuja.

According to the statement, the armed attackers stormed her grandfather’s home on Tuesday night, believing she was in the area. Fortunately, security operatives from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and community members quickly intervened, repelling the assailants.

“Two days ago, my younger brother visited our hometown with contractors to inspect project sites. The gunmen mistakenly thought I was in town and attacked my family’s house that night,” Senator Natasha revealed.

The statement urged the public to remain calm, stressing that the lawmaker’s dedication to grassroots development and community service should not be met with violence or political intimidation.
