Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has been arrested again by Nigerian Immigration officials upon his return to the country.
Bobrisky took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the arrest, stating that he was not informed of any offence.
“Guys, I have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o,” he wrote.

Naija Blog Daily recalls that Bobrisky had left Nigeria months ago, citing a need to focus on his well-being after serving a six-month prison sentence for naira abuse in April last year.
His departure also followed allegations that he bribed EFCC officials with ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges, a claim he later denied, threatening legal action against activist VeryDarkMan, who leaked the audio.
Before this, Bobrisky was arrested on October 21 at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to flee Nigeria and was re-arrested on November 1.
In a recent TikTok live session, Bobrisky declared that he had relocated to an undisclosed country where he is officially recognized as female and enjoys full respect.

“Nothing will bring me back to Nigeria. I have never lived in Nigeria. If I need to come to Nigeria, it will be for a visit, because this country doesn’t suit me,” he had previously stated.
However, his return to Nigeria has now led to another immigration-related arrest, while authorities have yet to confirm the reason behind his detention.
