The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that more than 3.5 million Nigerians have pre-registered online for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The update, announced on Monday, comes just two weeks after the voter registration exercise officially kicked off nationwide.
According to INEC’s data, Osun State is currently leading the registration chart with 518,635 applicants, followed by Lagos State with 440,647 and Ogun State with 348,217.
