The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will now commence on Thursday, April 24, instead of the earlier date of Friday.
According to a statement released on Saturday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the adjustment was made to accommodate key operational needs involving JAMB and its partner agencies.
“Candidates are advised to print their 2025 UTME Notification Slips starting from today, Saturday, April 19, 2025, to know their examination schedule,” the statement reads.
The notification slip contains crucial information such as:
- Candidate’s exam date
- Time of examination
- Venue and centre address
- Other personal and exam details
How to Print Your 2025 UTME Notification Slip
- Visit the official JAMB website: www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing”
- Enter your JAMB registration number
- Click “Print Examination Slip.”
Important Advisory
JAMB strongly recommends that candidates print and review their slips at least 1–2 days before their exam date. This will help them:
- Confirm the exact location of their exam centre
- Make necessary transportation arrangements
- Avoid last-minute confusion or lateness
“Candidates will only be posted to centres within their selected examination towns,” JAMB emphasized. “No candidate will be placed outside their chosen location.”
