Vice President Kashim Shettima has condemned Friday night’s deadly suicide bombing in Konduga LGA of Borno State, which claimed at least 24 lives. The Federal Government has vowed a swift and forceful response.
The blast, carried out by a female suicide bomber at a local food joint, injured several others, with many victims now receiving treatment at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
Speaking through his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima described the bombing as a “heinous act of terrorism against innocent civilians,” adding that the federal government would not rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice.
