President Bola Tinubu on Thursday hosted Ghanaian President John Mahama at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, marking Mahama’s first official visit to Nigeria since his January 7, 2025, inauguration.

The high-profile meeting focused on boosting diplomatic relations, with discussions centered on trade, security, and regional cooperation within ECOWAS.

This visit follows Tinubu’s earlier trip to Accra in December 2024, where he personally congratulated Mahama after his presidential election victory.
