In a touching update that has stirred emotional reactions across Nigeria, Adeola, the 41-year-old daughter of veteran Yoruba actress Jumoke George, has been found alive in Mali after going missing for four years.
The revelation came during a recent episode of the Talk to B show, hosted by actress Biola Bayo, where Jumoke George opened up about her daughter’s disappearance and her ongoing health and financial struggles.
Jumoke revealed that Adeola, who had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan, vanished after saying she was travelling to Lagos. She was not heard from again until recently.

In a heartfelt moment, the ailing actress shared that Adeola had contacted someone, asked for forgiveness, and explained she had travelled out of Nigeria to Mali with friends in search of better opportunities.
“I’ve been looking for her for the past four years. Every small money I made was spent on trying to find her,” Jumoke said tearfully.
Jumoke also disclosed that her deteriorating health had taken a toll on her career. She noted that she’s had to cancel acting jobs, refund payments, and even borrow money for medical treatments she couldn’t afford.
“After I became ill, I couldn’t go for a set I was invited to. I had to refund the person who had paid me. I’ve done several tests and need more, which will cost about ₦400,000, and I don’t know where to get the money.”
Biola Bayo, who has been closely involved in Jumoke’s story, confirmed via Instagram that she had a video call with Adeola, though the daughter has yet to directly speak with her mother.

“She hasn’t called her mom, but Mom is happy she’s alive. Jumoke George is currently at a state hospital in Lagos, awaiting further medical evaluation,” Biola wrote.
